Sebastian’s birthday party is in 6 days and since my last post I have been very busy starting a bunch of projects and not finishing much. Now that I am down to the wire I have completed a few projects. The first one is the centerpieces for the tables, here is a picture of the finished centerpieces:

Aren’t they cute?! I saw a picture of similar centerpiece on Etsy a jollylollycreation. When I came across this site during my endless hunt for ideas, I knew that I could make similar centerpieces of my own. Now here are the supplies I needed for this project:

I purchased a variety of coloured foam which were about$.49 a piece. I also picked up some foam glue, small dowels and I picked up the tin pales at an antique market for $4 each. Once I had my supplies gathered I started to draw and cut out my animal shapes and glue them together. After a couple of hours, I finally had my animals to my liking and I was ready to glue my dowels to the animals. I heated up my glue gun and got down to business.

I inserted green foam into the base of the pales and began to stick the animals into place playing with the different heights. Once I had all my animals into place, I added some dried filler filler around the top of the pail. I also made a ribbon and bow out of some fabric left over from other projects and glued into onto the pail. I now have my table centerpieces ready to make my tables beautiful!
